FORM-8. PETITION FOR CANCELLATION FOR THE REGISTRATION OF A DESIGN

Petition for cancellation of the registration of a design under section 19 of the Designs Act, 2000.

Purpose: Filed by any person (including a person other than the registered proprietor) seeking cancellation of the registration of a design on any of the grounds specified in section 19 of the Act.
The petition shall be made in duplicate and accompanied by a statement in duplicate setting out the nature of the applicant's interest and the facts upon which he bases his application.
