2nd CGM - IP BRICS
The O/o CGPDTM successfully convened the 2nd IP BRICS Coordination Group Meeting. The focal points from the IP BRICS Offices successfully finalized agendas for the informal HIPO meeting at the WIPO General Assembly and mapped out logistics and workstream updates for the upcoming 18th HIPO Meeting in September 2026.
The meeting also refined pending amendments to their Operational Guidelines, focusing on making the rules more practical by clarifying consensus definitions, setting firmer deadlines, and establishing minimum review periods.
