Open House sessions to address grievances / suggestion on issues related to Intellectual Property Rights: Revised Schedule
Open House sessions to address grievances / suggestion on issues related to Intellectual Property Rights
Upon directions of Hon’ble CIM, an initiative was launched to hold an Open House for seamless and direct communication with the applicants and stakeholders on various IP-related issues. Such conversations began on a daily basis on October 17, 2022, and thereafter
on a weekly basis on every working Friday from 4 P.M. to 5.30 P.M.
After months of such open house discussions, it is felt that such productive and resolving activity should be held on a daily basis on each working day from
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. As a result, the Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trademarks has decided to hold these sessions according to the following schedule:
Days of Week |
Office |
Mondays & Wednesdays: |
Patents |
Tuesdays & Thursdays: |
Trade Marks |
Fridays: |
Designs, Copyrights & Geographical Indications |
However, in case of any URGENT matters, Stakeholders can attend the Open House for any IP matter.
The link for connecting to the open house shall remain same as given below:

Please keep in mind that the open house conversation is a public forum, and the priority to call for discussion will be determined by raised hands on the WebEx platform. To maintain the quality and time given for the conversation, all participants in the
Open House are requested to submit their questions briefly so that appropriate time can be allotted for resolution.
